Pill Pockets

These are the greatest if you have to give pills to dogs, including Remedyl or Chemotherapy pills.  I've tried everything in the past, melted cheese, but the dogs would pick the pills out.  Roll the pills into a bit of the pill pocket material, and the dog will swallow it down.

Teeth Cleaning Chews

Petrodex Teeth Cleaning chews with an enzyme to clean teeth.  For our Pomeranian, she has bad teeth and is a bit too fiesty for teeth brushing. We give the big & little dogs all a big chew, so that they last awhile.

This is a beautiful area, humid and open.  

I don't know about other people, but when I'm surrounded by so much intense color, it's an amazing feeling and has a very positive affect on mood.  I was surprised there weren't painting groups out there, like I saw at the Schreiner's Iris Gardens.

They sold a frozen lemonade that was so sour & so good!   There is an underground bunker with flower displays which might be great to take the folks not up to walking the fields, but I really think the fields have a magical affect.

Atmosphere: Aimed for the serious flower enthusiast, tourists and photographers. All visitors will be expected to not walk in the flower rows.  
What's Available: Flowers, Flower arrangements, Flower growing and arranging lessons, a few food & drink stands, Portable bathrooms, Tour buses (somewhere there's a flower tour).  
Kid Factor: Depending on your kid's interests, temperament and patience, your kids may be thankful for only a short visit,  or swap babysitting and send them off picnicking & kite flying.
